Job Description


Woodlands TX area Software Development Company is seeking to hire two Software Application Support Analyst.  


 


These positions are direct hire not contract assignments


 


The ideal candidate will have an AA or BS Degree and at least two years of application software support experience.   Candidates for this position will be taking technical support calls on an enterprise level software and helping to solve software and end user issues.   Candidates will be training client staff on the proper use and capabilities of the enterprise software.    THESE POSITIONS WILL REQUIRED UP TO 50% TRAVEL TO CLIENT LOCATIONS.  


 


This position requires knowledge of the internet, desktops, server and mobile applications.


 


Primary Job Duties:  


•   The primary focus of this position involves training the customers on the proper use of the software, troubleshooting problems and other general software support. While virtually all of this is performed over the telephone and the internet.  The ability to travel to client sites are required. 


 Requirements


•      Direct experience supporting complex business software systems.


•      Experience training end users on software use.


•      Experience supporting computers and peripherals.


•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


•      Knowledge of Windows PC and Server Environments is required.  Ability to troubleshoot computer, server and peripheral problems.


•     Over-night travel may be required.


  •     Ability to develop training aids. 

  •    Ability to present training professionally.

     


All candidates must pass a drug screen, criminal background check and a motor vehicle check.


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

AA or BS Degree


2 Years Software Application Support Experience.


2 Years Client Support Experience.


2 Years Training and Delivery Experience.
